Firequip was founded in February
1979 to serve small to medium sized fire equipment distributors with immediate delivery of
fire hose products. An inventory of approximately twenty miles of various sized fire hose
was maintained at all times for municipal and industrial customers who were in need of
immediate delivery. |
| The policy of our company was to
ship same day provided the order was in house by noon, except on weekends and holidays.
Our rapid response gained nationwide attention and caused major changes in the way
fire hose is marketed in the United States today. No longer did the distributor need to
wait for four to six months to have his hose built. Our coupling supplier cooperated fully
to insure that even the special threaded hose could be delivered in a timely fashion. |
